Tes Jakarta-Bogor, All-New Honda Brio Minum Bensin 30 Km/Liter

BOGOR, 20 March 2019 - The All-New Honda Brio proves how efficient its fuel consumption is as Honda's flagship city car in Indonesia. For this new generation, Brio fuel consumption has reached 30 km / liter.

This figure was successfully resolved at an event held by PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), by inviting journalists to prove how efficient Brio's 1,200 cc i-VTEC engine is, today, Wednesday (20/3/2019).

At the Brio "Battle of Efficiency" event, journalists were challenged to prove how efficient the consumption of the latest Brio fuel is. This event was held with a journey of 70.4 kilometers, from HPM's head office in Sunter, North Jakarta to Sentul, Bogor, West Java.

Of the 20 cars driven by journalists, Brio recorded the best fuel consumption results of 30.1 km / liter. This figure is taken based on the data listed on the Multi Information Display (MID) on the instrument panel.

The second best result in this race is 29.9 km / liter, while the third best result is 29.6 km / liter. The route taken is dominated by toll roads with varying traffic density conditions.

The committee collects race results referring to the numbers that appear at the MID at the finish point, Sentul Circuit, without using the "full to full" method.

Unfortunately, the pantia does not require participants to turn on the car AC during the race. So some participants chose not to turn on the air conditioner throughout the trip, which made the results less relevant for daily use.

For information, the Honda Brio is strengthened by a 1.2 L SOHC 4 cylinder engine, 16 valves i-VTEC + DBW. This 1,199 cc engine has a power of 90 PS @ 6,000 rpm and a torque of 110 Nm @ 4,800 rpm.

Honda offers the Brio SM / T Rp. 140 million to the most expensive Brio RS CVT 191 million. In Indonesia, this car competes with the Daihatsu Sirion, Kia Picanto, and the Hyundai i10.
